Sesame Noodles with Veggies

I love the Pioneer Woman’s blog.  Ree is an outrageously good cook, she homeschools her children, she’s in to photography, etc… She’s my blogging idol.  Her recipes are not allergy friendly, but I still enjoy reading her blog.

The Pioneer Woman has a super yummy recipe for Simple Sesame Noodles.  I made a few slight changes to the sesame sauce to make it allergy friendly, then I threw in some veggies to make it a complete meal.  Any variety of veggies would work just fine with this (if you’re out of ideas try broccoli, mushrooms, onions, and red peppers).  You can even add in cooked shrimp, chicken or beef if your heart so desires!

Cook 1- 8oz. package of your favorite gluten free noodles.

While the noodles are cooking, combine the following to make the Sesame Sauce and set aside:

1/4 cup Braggs Liquid Aminos (or coconut aminos for a soy free option)
1 1/2 TBSP agave nectar
2-3 cloves garlic (minced)
2 TBSP rice vinegar
3 TBSP sesame oil
4 TSBP olive oil
2 TSBP hot water

Saute desired veggies in a pan over medium heat until tender.  Toss noodles, veggies, and sesame sauce together.  Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onion.

Enjoy!
