Juliano Simeone celebrates scoring his first goal for Atletico Madrid after making his first start in the 2-0 win over Las Palmas sports.

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has insisted he views Juliano Simeone as just another player. After his youngest son started and scored his first goal in Sunday’s 2-0 win over Las Palmas, according to Marca UFABET

Atletico Madrid sent Juliano to Alaves on loan last season before returning to the Rojiblancos this summer. He had made nine substitute appearances in all competitions and provided one assist. Before ‘El Cholo’ handed his youngest son his first start against Las Palmas. And the 21-year-old forward netted his first goal for the Rojiblancos after putting his side 1-0 up in the 37th minute.

Asked about the decision to start Juliano, ‘El Cholo’ said: ‘I see Juliano as a player because we decided he should stay. Like any other player, he can help us.’

‘I only think about the team, that’s why he’s at Atlético. The ones who drive the game and those who drive less will play less.’

Diego Simeone’s son Giuliano scored his first goal for Atletico Madrid in their 2-0 win over Las Palmas.

The 21-year-old, who joined Atleti in 2019, spent last season on loan at Alaves but has been integrated into Simeone’s first team squad this term.
